What’s Risk of Rain 2 All About

This crazy fun shooter is from the people at Hopoo Games (the game is published by Gearbox Publishing). It’s fast and chaotic. It throws everything at you, looting, shooting, trying not to die every five seconds. The universe is completely sci-fi, always changing, so no two runs ever feel the same.

How the Game Plays

The main purpose? Survive. You fight your way through hordes of enemies and pick up anything found along your journey to reach that teleporter and bounce to the next stage. It sounds easy, right? Wrong, it gets brutal fast. The longer you play, the harder it will get, with enemies hitting harder, getting scarce loot, and levels throwing weird surprises your way.

Why It’s Worth Playing

Wild Item Combos: Every character and item changes the way you play. Some setups feel way too powerful (in a good kind of way), and others, well, let’s just say you’ll die a lot.

No Two Runs Alike: Levels, items, bosses, they’re all randomized. Sometimes you get lucky with a nice run, and sometimes the game decides to demolish you right from the beginning to Keeps it fresh.
